Michael and Denise Young: Drive Rite Driver Training Specialists servicing the Manawatu, Rangitikei and Horowhenua districts. With over 20 years combined experience and a wide variety of specialised qualifications, Drive Rite is able to offer a complete CLASS 1 Driver Education service to the region.

MICHAEL YOUNG

• Instructor since October 1991
• former Instructor with A1 Driving School (18 years)
• member NZIDE (NZ Institute of Driver Educators) since 1992
• qualified to deliver STREET TALK Defensive Driving courses (for 16 years)
• one of two Manawatu Instructors chosen for the CBTA (Competency-Based Training and Assessment) program for learner and restricted licence holders
• 11 years experience working with occupational therapists in the roles of Risk Managment, Driver Assessments, and training drivers with special needs
• NZQA workplace assessor
• Approved Assessor for Tranzqual.ITO
• qualifed to run approved courses for CLASS 2 licence
• approved Safe With Age course Assessor

DENISE YOUNG

• Instructor since June 1995
• former Instructor with A1 Driving School (6 years)
• former Central Secretary / National Secretary for NZIDE Exec Board since 1998
• experience in Risk Managment role with occupational therapists
• NZQA workplace assessor
